CABINETS

Cabinets are a lot of fun.  With tables and shelving units there's only so much scope to express yourself and put your stamp on the piece but cabinets are a different story.  While cabinets need to perform a function they also provide a great opportunity for some eye candy.  A cabinet from Three of a Kind can be a real statement piece in a room, having as much presence as any large artwork or sculpture.  The faces of drawers and doors can be embellished with anything from decorative glass, decoupaged fabric or imagery or add an industrial feel by using meat safe mesh, pressed metal, galvanised sheet metal or heavy duty stamped steel.  You can also take a more understated route, letting the character of the timber be the feature or use a combination of custom colours and bring the whole piece together using interesting or unusual door handles and hinges.
